Josh: Reva?
Reva: Yeah...
Josh: What just happened between us, are you okay with that?
Reva: Sure, it was nice.
Josh: It was nice?
Reva: Yeah, it felt right.
Josh: I thought so too. I want you to know something. I would never hurt you. I mean puposely I would never hurt you in any way.
Reva: I know that.
Josh: And I understand that bringing you down here to Venezuela and doing what we just did, it kinda screws things up. But I'm gonna take care of that. I'm gonna take care of you.
Reva: Josh, you don't have to worry about me. I'm fine. It'll be okay.
Josh: But I wanna take care of you, Reva. What happened just now was not a fluke. It was not an indiscretion or a mistake. It was the way things are meant to be. Don't you understand that?
Reva: No!!
Josh: And I know it's hard with Alan right now but we...
Reva: Joshua no!! Let's not get off track. This isn't about Sonni or Alan. This is about us.
Josh: Yes, it is. And we are meant to be together.
Reva: No! Because everytime we are we end up tearing each other's hearts out.
Josh: But it doesn't have to be that way....
Reva: But it is!! It is!! It always is. Look at us now. What we have waiting for us.
Josh: I know it's really strange right now. I mean I know that because of what's going on with Sonni or Solita or whatever the hell her name is..
Reva: Joshua, listen to me. It's not up to you. It's up to me. And I'm going home. No matter what you say I am going home...to Alan.
Josh: No.
Reva: Yes.
Josh: No!!
Reva: Yes!!
Josh: Okay. Tell me something okay? How are you going to forget about this? How are you going to forget about us Reva?
Reva: Do you think I ever could forget this?
Josh: No. No, I don't.
Reva: Well I couldn't. Joshua you are my heart. (He comes towards her) No, no. Because now I'm acting with my head and not with my heart. Alan picked me up. He leaned down and he picked me up when everybody else was stepping on me or over me. He stuck by me and I owe him.
Josh: Reva you don't love him.
Reva: I do. Not the way I love you, but I do love him. I finally have something that I feel will last... something that I can count on...someone who makes me feel like I'm gonna go some place....something that's not gonna make me feel like I'm stuck in some fantasy or mirage.
Josh: Reva, you're talking about Alan...
Reva: Please, please! Don't make this any harder than it already is. I have to go.
Josh: Can you stay just a little longer? I have to go see the nun again. Can you just stay here and go with me please? We...you and I have to talk..
Reva: No. No more talking. We've said everything. No. You go. I'm gonna go get Marah and we're gonna fly back alone.
Josh: So this is goodbye?
Reva: This is goodbye.

Reva: So...
Josh: Unbelievable!
Reva: Unbelievable!
Josh: I don't have a clue of how I'm gonna tell her.
Reva: It won't be difficult. She's crazy about you.
Josh: I just don't know what to say. I don't know what you've told her so far.
Reva: Well it's been pretty easy but lately it's gotten kinda sticky. She sees that her friends have two parents and she asks about her Daddy.
Josh: Did you tell her about Kyle?
Reva: No. Somehow I always knew this day was coming. I couldn't tell her she was Kyle's daughter. And now I'm real glad I didn't.
Josh: Me too. Of course, she shouldn't have to be told anything. The situation should not have happened in the first place and it wouldn't have if.....
Reva: Joshua? Can we just be happy, please? For me, after everything that's happened, let's just be happy.
Josh: For you, I think I can swing that yeah.
Marah: Bud?
Josh: Yes?
Marah: Mama won't tell my why everybody keeps on crying. Will you?
Josh: Yes I will.
(Everyone leaves except Jeva and Marah)
Marah: Now are you going to tell me why everyone keeps on crying?
Reva: We told you the truth before honey. It's because we're so happy.
Marah: Why?
Reva: You remember how you blew out the candle on your birthday cake? And how you wish on that big bright star at night? You remember what you wish for? Well, that wish has come true.
Marah: It did?
Reva: Tell Joshua what you wished for.
Marah: I can't. It won't come true.
Reva: Oh, baby...yes it will. I promise it will.
Marah: A daddy.
Reva: You know what she says when she wishes? That she wants him to be funny and nice and know how to be a horsey.
Marah: Like you.
Josh: Well...
Reva: Tell her, she'll understand.
Josh: I am your daddy.
Marah: You mean you're gonna marry Mama?
Josh: Yes I am going to marry your mama but I also mean that I am your father. And we're all going to be together now. When you were wishing for a daddy, at the same time I was wishing for a little girl exactly like you. And I'll tell you something, I was there when you were born. I even held you before your mommy even held you. The moment you were born, that very second, I knew that I loved you. I loved you so much. And as you've grown older, that love has also grown. So now we are going to be a family, the three of us. And I promise you I will not leave you again...ever.
Marah: My wish came true!!
Josh: So did mine, darlin'...so did mine.
